When Painting the Petals, do you paint both sides?

When Painting the break Calipers, do you paint both sides?

Do you paint the other side as well, which is invisible when the wheel is on?

...or do you simply paint half caliper, the side visible from the rim?

pedal (not petal) it could be the break pedal, clutch pedal and gas pedal

^ the rx8 has that feature built in every time you shift.

i'd take the entire caliper off and paint it.
