Wheels on a Whitewater Pearl?

What wheels would you put on a Whitewater Pearl?

I looked through all 26 pages of the thread titled "Post Your Pics of Aftermarket Rims" (https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-55/pics-aftermarket-rims-57557/) and have been browsing the websites listed in "Index of Wheel Stores" (https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=114717).

I'd especially like to see any pics of rims that other Whitewater Pearl owners put on their cars.
I'm intrigued with white rims -- haven't seen too many.

I'll probably stay with 18 inch wheels and not stagger them. Cash is not unlimited, so I really want to do the research and be happy with my buy. Any websites that you would recommend I look at for wheels?

Thanx!

I see you did not mention the thread "Calling all Whitewater Pearls" thread. Lots of pics or WWP cars and many of them with after market wheels!

Yup, looked all the way through the "calling all WWP" thread, too. Most cars in the thread seem to show stock rims. I'm not drawn to the highly polished chrome rims.

And the guy from Kauai, Hawaii, "Whitehot", posts some great pics of his car. Here's one of his car with white wheels. I like the look of the white wheels -- but haven't decided if I like anything else better.

I think wheel choice basically comes down to personal style. That's why there are so many to choose from.

I really like the black wheels with chrome lip look on the WWP. Shoot, anything will look good on the white 8.

The enkei rfp1's look good on WWP. 18" are lighter than the OEM wheels as well.

Have you gone through the Calling all Rays thread? Lots of great looking wheels in that thread.

I think gun metal, black and bronze look hot on white cars.

That's actually not his car. It's Whitehot's from Hawaii. Kors-jan was just posting it up to show it.

^ Those are pretty sweet wheels -- I like the red band a lot. Clear corners might be better, as, IMHO, the orange clashes a bit with the red. I"m still drawn more to the white, I think.

Hey -- in post #4 above I said I looked all the way through the "Calling all Whitewater Pearls" thread. Most wheels shown there are stock. I'm asking here for people's suggestions what wheels they think would look good on my Whitewater Pearl and for their suggestions where to buy the wheels. I'm leaning towards buying white rims.

and you don't think that asking in that thread is likely to be the most productive route?

Thought about it. Not really. I think if someone doesn't own a WWP, they will not read through the entire thread to see my question (like I don't read through the other colors of similar threads). My question that I'm wanting help with is more specific and not limited to WWP owners.

I like the look of Konig's 8.....WWP with some nice HRE wheels in black with polished lip. I put my Volk Gt-7's on Snowfl8k's 8, and liked the look of the black wheels with polished lip on hers as well.
