Reason I'm asking is coz I wanna see what I can do for HRE wheels when I get the RX8. I got some HRE's on my current car and I love them.

You can't find any info? I doubt you even looked around this forum for one minute. Why do I doubt you? Because exactly 10 threads below this thread is a thread titled and addressing exactly what you are asking for.

Guys, be nice. You can direct newbies to the correct information without being mean about it. Yes, he should have done a search, but he doesn't deserve being yelled at because he made a mistake.

Elara,

Yes, you are correct. Looking at ProToolsKid post count of 2 it is obvious he/she is a new member and probably doesn't know how/where to look for info.

ProToolsKid,

I was being an a-hole. My mistake. I apologize.

To answer your question the RX-8 with sport suspension has 18"X8" wheels, 50 mm offset, 5X114.3 mm bolt circle. To date, hub diameter is unkown.

If the HRE wheels you have meet the above specs but do not meet the hub diameter that is not a problem. If the wheel's bore is too small then the wheels can be machined to the correct diameter. This will probably cost you about $200 for the set at a competent machine shop. If the wheel's bore is too large then those little aluminum adapter rings can be purchased or made. Cost to make these rings would be about $200 at a machine shop.

ProToolsKid,

I am feeling guilty about getting on you unfairly. I also see you live in Houston. So do I and I subcontract several million $ of work at local machine shops every year. If your HRE wheels meet all of the specs except hub diameter I can have this done for you at no cost.

Peace

Sorry guys been busy I actually did a search but I didn't find all that info all I found was the 18x8 rim size for the 6 speed. I did most of my searching just on the reg web and none of the sites had this. My current rims are HRE 547 19x8.5 W/ 5x100 lug pattern 37MM offset and 54MM center bore so they won't work at all. I'll just sell them and get new ones.... I kinda wanted the 500R series wheel anyway.

BabyLou It's all cool I don't care what peeps say on these message boards. But I did search my *** of until I came across this message board and did a search and all I found was rim size.
Thanks for the offer but I got the wrong lug pattern and offset so I'll just sell the wheels.

Now since the Stock wheels are 18x8 do you think it's possible to get 19x10s on there or something?

You can fit 19X10's on there without rolling your fenders as long as the offset is close to +50. If you are dropped on springs or coilovers, then you will need more negative camber and smaller tires if you want to fit without rolling your fenders.
