Wheel shredded but still holds pressure!

This morning I entered an onramp at a fairly quick pace, and I hit a wet spot :-( The car started to oversteer, and I corrected. But it was too late, and my right rear wheel smacked the barrier. I was probably going 40-50 mph when I hit it. No body damage whatsoever, but the rim is totaled. Check out the picture. I can't believe it still holds air pressure, and I was able to drive the 3 miles home! But I'm definitely not driving on it anymore. Too bad I don't have the spare tire.

Now I'm in the market for one OEM rim ;-) Heh.

Yeah, no kidding. When I hit the barrier, I thought I destroyed my bumper and/or rear fender. But I was glad that it's only the wheel.

Wow. That's simply amazing that it held pressure.

I'd love to see what the wheel looks like after the tire is removed.
