What tire pressure are you guys putting in the stock 18s?
I was wondering what everyone was putting in their stock 225's. I don't follow the Mazda thingy, since Mazda has seist to realize this is a RWD car. Every RWD car we own, 575M, and the BMW 745 show more tire pressure in the rear wheels, even my mom's X5 has differant psi's. It is usually a 5-psi differance. So, I am putting 32.5 front, 35 rear. I figure that the rear wheels are pushing the car, and all other RWD cars tell you to put more in the rear anway, so I will do it with my car. And, this is not just beucase there are larger tires in the rear. For the Maranello, Ferrari tells us to put differant pressures in my dad's 245 front and 245 rear snow tires (he is not crazy for driving a 575 in the winter, it is just a little bit lower than my RX-8. So, what is up with Mazda???

Since the 8 has a 50-50 weight distribution, having equal tire pressures makes sense. I'm running 34psi all around. Once I get familiar with it I will probably bracket that by 2psi high and low to see how that feels.

LoL... my girlfriend gave me crap, when she was taking the pic. One of my hobbies is weight lifting, so I take pics every 2 months to see the results. It is really amazing when you look at what 2 months can do to your body... plus, it helps to get chicks when I'm at the beach in the summer. I am going to U of M next fall, and they were one of the colleges that were interested in me for football. I may still try to play college football, I just don't now if I have enough time.

Just to return to the subject....
I'm running 34 around right now, but expect when I get out and really work things out with the chalk I'll find the fronts need a little more.
All my RX7s have preferred higher pressure in front by about 5psi. People who use pyrometers get a little more precise than I do with chalk, but the difference isn't huge on street tires.
