What to do if I don't have adjustable camber plates on my coilovers?

It's currently running on crazy negative camber (i think i have like at least 5 degrees camber), i tried searching and know that we can mess around with the stock suspension, but i don't think that'd do with mine.
I tried google for a RX-8 camber kit, and no luck so far. Anyone who has this experience and glad to share for a bit?
Thanks

You want MORE than -5 camber? WTF? Why add camber plates when you can adjust the camber the normal way.

and more than -2 is just for show. It shows you are an idiot.

Speedsource GT cars are running 3 degrees with racing tires (it was said in passing during the race broadcast this weekend). I don't think you can generate enough grip to require 5.
The RX8 doesn't have a McPherson strut suspension the uses camber plates. We have unequal wishbones that allow the camber changes. A camber plate would just move the top of the shock around.

he didn't say anything about wanting more negative camber

there are no camber plates for this car. how much of a drop did you do with the Hipermax RS? you should be able to adjust it down enough.

I believe this is what you call, "The exception that proves the rule." Besides, IIRC, those set ups only look like an RX8 on the outside. Not much similar on the inside. I enjoyed watching that this weeked. Is that track at Leeds ever open to groups?

oh. Then why the request for camber plates?? To get them back to a stock setup?? I guess I am just confused.

I don't believe the ST class cars run anything more than that either. I was a while ago that I saw them, but I don't remember seeing any radical camber even with their Hoosier race rubber.

I have H&R springs and there wasn't any significant change in the front camber. The rears were a different matter. / \

Take into an independent shop and give 'em the specs you want.

Or do as a buddy and I did and split the cost for a home alignment kit and do it yourself. It is easy, relatively quick and more than pays for itself in two alignments.

Change shops, this one doesn't know what they are talking about. You don't drive a Honda.

home alignment kit? what comes in that.. some string and a ruler?

cause if you're doing it at home that's all you need

Basically. Just a set of tools with a level and a protractor thingy. $100 or so. Toe is a little difficult, but is doable.

EDIT: I believe they were made by a co. called Fast Tracks. Really just a camber gauge, with some extra do-dads to set caster and toe. Again, You can only set total toe. But you can figure out the individual wheels with some iterations.

i heard toe's gotta be 0? and anything close to 2 for camber is good?

You're right, -3 at the most. Also, the Speedsource 8's ran -5 this past weekend at Barber...I talked to Dave and Sylvain and they said it took them all night on Friday to redesign the tie rods so they could run that much camber. Saved a lot on that Pirelli rubber.

BTW to the OP, I'm running -1.8 in the rear and -1.6 up front with 1.5 inch drop the way around.

Well, I am not sure what the drop has to do with it. I might be 1" lower all around, but definitely as equal as Icould get it with me in the seat.

-1.5 camber front
-2.0 camber rear
6.8 castor front (no need to mess with this.)
0.09 Toe front
0.15 toe rear
