2tone gets it ... fwiw it was simply intended to reflect my own disdain for all the lightweight wheel options becoming fewer and farther inbetween, sorry to inform the inexperienced young men here that there was nothing more to it ... if I'm miserable it's only because of all the scouring and deal digging I have to go through locating discontinued SSR Type C Competition wheels ...

RAVSPEC posted a picture of a lightweight wheel, and you said "...expensive for a boat anchor". If I'm an "inexperienced young man" than what else am I supposed to gather from that incredibly helpful post?

I agree about options becoming less and less though... unfortunate, really.

 

I wouldn't worry too much about teamRX8 comments. It's pointless to argue with him.

Usually these type of behavior / comments are not allow in some of the better forums, like NASIOC, EVOM, G35driver.

I hope Admin from this forum can spend more time in cleaning up some of the threads here.

So many threads in here are off topic and always end up with a fight between two group of people.

The main topic of this thread is to show the RX8 owner here how the SA55M using a 18x9.0 +36mm offset on LM60, 245/40 will look on the RX8.

That's my contribution for the forum here, and look where we end up. It's frustrating for new user and frustrating for people who come here looking for information.

Even though TeamRX8 has alot of knowledge, but his one liner behavior and insult will do more harm to the community than good.

Admin .. I hope you guys can work together and try to monitor and get rid of people like that. It's not just TeamRX8, I have seen many other long time members of this forum acting very irresponsible , posting insult and unnecessary negative comments.

Let's work together and get this forum to be a better place for new members, and to provide information for fellow owners, not insult and fight.

yup, on this size + offset * 18x9.0 +36mm , Matte Gun Metal and Black with blue accent.

On 18x9.0 +20mm and 18x10.0 +18mm, four colors

black with blue accent, black with red accent, matte black and matte gun metal.

 

Matte Black only

 

Mat black & grey is so much beautiful...

If only the red ones were not kinda "dark red" but mat black too...
