Oh yeah my extended family is all in NY, there is no way I could live up east though, winter sucks and the plows are hell on the roads. My father left NY for warmer weather and never looked back :lol:

18" with tire , around $2400 ~ $2700

19" with tire, around $2700 ~ $3000

price varies based on the brand of tires.

You're in California so I suppose it's understandable but this really isn't the case with winter tires. Typically, if anything, a skinnier tire will prove to perform better in snow/slush/ice situations. Wider tires have a tendancy to distribute the weight farther apart and *float* on top, rather than digging in.
