Oh yeah my extended family is all in NY, there is no way I could live up east though, winter sucks and the plows are hell on the roads. My father left NY for warmer weather and never looked back

I love those rims though.

paporx8 11-09-2010 11:17 PM

how much for rims with tires in those exact sizes ? and how much in 19' with tires if they are available ?

Ross_Dawg 11-10-2010 12:00 PM

Love that wheel and color :icon_tup:

Nopstnz8 11-10-2010 03:22 PM

Damn those are clean. The color looks really good. The hood vinyl is pretty nice as well.

bose 11-10-2010 04:40 PM

If these are your winter rims, what do you rally in the summer?

yeah, 19" are available.

18" with tire , around $2400 ~ $2700

19" with tire, around $2700 ~ $3000

price varies based on the brand of tires.

Nice to see a shop or individual affiliated with a shop throw on some quality/less often seen parts onto the 8!

bruce_van 11-17-2010 11:08 AM

Car looks great!

TeamRX8 11-18-2010 08:29 PM

Not to be rude, Team, but it may be worthwhile having your eyes examined

The wheels pictured weigh 19.5lbs per so no anchor here.

Rotary-RX8 11-19-2010 01:24 PM

Those look sick !!!

Razz1 11-19-2010 01:27 PM

Tires are too narrow. Need 255's to 275's on a 9" wheel

You're in California so I suppose it's understandable but this really isn't the case with winter tires. Typically, if anything, a skinnier tire will prove to perform better in snow/slush/ice situations. Wider tires have a tendancy to distribute the weight farther apart and *float* on top, rather than digging in.

Roidz 11-19-2010 03:15 PM

I like.

It's easy to be mean on the internet, some people are just unhappy and this is their way of venting. Don't sweat it bro.

Team has a lot of knowledge and information that would benefit a lot of us but unfortunately he would rather post of up one liners and random insults. It's sad because we could really use his knowledge for the better around here.
