Question WedsSport SA-70 & Gram Lights T57-RC specs?

Anyone know the specs on these rims:

WedsSport SA-70 18x8
Gram Lights T57-RC 18x8.5

I am looking for the offset and the weight of the rims.

I think I like the look of the SA-70's better but they both look pretty good too me.

I don't have specs on either of those. Have you checked wheelweights.net ??

Anyway, if you like those 2, you should check out the

Cool... Maybe you can put a rim on the scales before you install them.. I have been looking to find the weight of those rims for a while now. I hope they are as light or lighter then the TC-005 rims from Weds (17.7 lbs).

I did some searching and found a weight figure... 18.4lbs. http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=122016
These are casted wheels where I think the TC-005 are forged hence the bigger price tag. Hope that helps...

that's a wider wheel with a different offset, doesn't apply

18 x 9 @ 35mm shown there vs 18 x 8 @ 42mm discussed here

Yes, that extra inch width will mean more weight. I guess this is a good sign since it must be lighter then 18.4.. Comparing with the TC-005 at 18x9 (18.6) vs. 18x8 (17.7) there is a 0.9 lb difference. So it might be possible to assume that the SA-70 at 18x8 would be ~17.5 lbs.

An offset of +42 means the wheels will be extended 8mm outwards vs. stock (+50 offset). I guess that should not play too much havoc with the suspension geometry, I hope.

that's not necessarily correct either, the Enkei RPF1 18 x 8 weighs 2 lb more than the same style in 18 x 9.5

you'll be ok with the offset change, it's not that signicant
