Unhappy Wheels

Bad news, rear tires rub bad. Going to have to change offset on rear. Here is a pic anyway.

the wheels look good on the blue.

can you give some pictures of where they are rubbing and how much clearance they have with the guards? can you roll the rear guards?

The clearance issue is the lip above only. Rubbing the tire. I refuse to do any mods like rolling the lip. I am 99% sure an offset of +49 will resolve the problem. No more pics, sorry.

Fitment, well it's a bit of a pain in the butt. Right now, I only have the brackets and wing. The bottom part is the problem. The templates are fine to mount the wing, but the slots on the bottom part don't line up correctly with the brackets so you have to grind/sand them to fit (the angles are off so you must compensate). The quality of the wing is super though and nothing against Rotary Extreme. It appears that the same issue is held with the MazdaSpeed wing as well. I started on the bottom portion quite a while ago, just haven't had much time to finish up. Maybe this weekend.

Oh yeah, you can absolutely feel the downforce over 90 MPH (and IMHO it looks cool too!)

Well I haven't taken many pictures since I put on the wing, but this thread shows the volks. https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-55/my-8-volk-19s-25369/

Hope to get some new pics soon.

Does anyone know how much it costs to get the GT-C's, 18 x 9 and 18 x 10, with gold spokes?

Thanks for your opinions on the wheels. The wheel were provided on a partial sponsorship from "Rays" so all I had to do was return the wrong wheels and the correct ones are on order. Fuzion tires provided by Bridgestone/Firestone Off Road Tire, Bloomington, IL.
As for the 18x9-18x10 combo it was not recommended by the people @ Rays. They rec. 18x8-18x9 and these can be found for around $1850-1900. Do a google for "volk racing"
and you will find them.
This is the only pic as the wheels were immediately remove due to the rubbing in the rear.
