Two lugnuts are missing from my Rt rr wheel

I was hearing some weird noises, so I decided to check out my wheels, and behold... the RT Rear wheel is missing TWO lugnuts! one is the lock and one is just the regular one factory nut. I am assuming maybe my stupid *** didnt tighten them enough (cause I am hoping someone wasnt trying to steel the factory rims).

I am assuming I can just buy some standard lugnuts from autozone or something, but does anyone have any other suggestions?

When you go there you want to get Lugs that are 12mm x 1.50 Thread or you can use the net http://www.brandsport.com/golugnuwhlof4.html

I also lost one a week after putting the summer tires back on. Yeah, stupid ****. I am pretty **** about checking that but what the heck, I must not have. Lug nuts do not fall off. Did you put anything on the stud before you put the lug nuts on? Shouldn't, they are a meant to be a dry and clean connection.

Anyway, I bought one for $6 at the dealer since I have the OEM wheels. You can buy after market wheel lug sets for all four wheels for ~$80 to $90. I did not look at Autozone.

You should have 4 lug nuts that came with your car (which were replaced by the wheel locks). Mine were in the trunk next to the jack.

Yah, this is after I put the summer tires back on. SO I guess I should not have sprayed WD40 on the nuts and stud. DAMNIT.

thanks everybody. I'll look for the "spare" nuts, but I dont remember seeing any. Otherwise, the website expo1 gave me will do also. Thanks again.

Better I find out now than while driving on the highway.

A torque wrench is not only beneficial, it is critical. Your strength is as accurate as your butt dyno = not accurate at all...

Tighten to 80 to 85 ft-lbs with the wheels and studs at normal ambient temps.

go to your dealership and ask them if they have any take offs from a new car, I got 2 full sets of lugs that were take offs for free! Normal retail is $5 per lug, so I saved a HUGE amount of $$$

it doesn't matter if you put axle grease on them, if you torque them to the right spec they aren't coming off by themselves anytime soon ...

Understood, http://www.finishlineperformance.com...2-04-1301b.pdf but if you don't have the noise, I figure 85 ft-lbs is more than enough. That is quite a bit of torque to begin with.
