TPMS question...

Are TPMS sensors universal? Or are they "manufacturer" specific? Will wheels w/ RX8 TPMS sensors work w/ any other car w/ TPMS??? Thanks in advance y'all...

They will work in another RX-8 but not all systems work the same way. So it is safe to say they will not work in another model of car.
