Question TPMS part numbers

I have question that I hope someone can help me with.
Is the Siemens FE01-37-140A TPMS sensor the only one that comes in the RX8?

The guys at Tire Rack says that it's the same one for all models but the guy in the parts dept at the dealership says his book has a differant part number for every model and suspension and for every year.

Has anybody seen a differant one in the RX8?

I'm going to get some new wheels and tires and it's the only thing that I'm not sure about. I don't want to break down my stock wheels incase I resale or whatever.

It would be a big help if I could get a straight answer on this.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe they are all the same.
Now...............having said that, there is a new one(well, the old has been modified with a better grommet). I would go to www.rosenthalmazda.com(a vendor here) and contact Tommy. he's a good dude and can hook you up. Ask about getting the new style. I'll come edit this with a link that shows the new and old. Just gotta find it.

Okay.............here's the thread..........make sure you look at post #8, that shows what the "new" vs. "old" look like.

I would read the whole thread..........it's not very long.

Thanks for showing me that thread.Even though it was mostly about the seals, it does seem that the FE01-37-140 is the sensor for all RX8's.

Well.......if nothing else, PM tommy(you'll see him on that thread) and ask him. He would probably check your VIN number to make sure before you ordered any. I order one from him when I was having an issue, but I got the older seal. I would for sure go with the newer version.
