TPMS light didn't turn on .. and offset ?

Alright, I got bored tonight and decided to try on my new wheels. I did not put any TPMS sensors in the new wheels, so I figured the light would pop on once I started driving down the road. Well, I drove a good 7-10 miles and the light didn't come on at all. I know the light works, because it does light up when my OE wheels get a little low.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Also, my wheels are 19x9.5 all the way around with a 35 offset, with 255/35's. I'm dropped with Tanabe GF210's. I didn't think the 35 offset was too bad, but when I took the wheels back off I saw that they were rubbing on the springs a little bit.
Does anybody else use this setup?

same thing happened to me just wait until you drive about 20 miles or you hit 70MPH and it will start flashing. As far as the rubbin I don't know so can't help you there.

Mine turns on after 10 minutes of driving without the sensors installed.

sometime it will come i remember not having them installed on my last set of wheel and it would come on for a couple of weeks but some time it would come on and go off. One nite i was showing out as was burning rubber till my tires pop and it took the TPMS about 4 min to acutally come on and that was on stock tires.

It does rub a little bit... It touches the lip in the fender wells on the quarter-panels when I'm turning. And I know it's touching the springs because when I took the wheels back off, a portion of the springs were clean, as if someone wiped it down.
