TPMS alert icon

Hi,

The last week, only in the mornings, while temperatures are around 30 -35 degrees my TPMS alert icon comes on. It stays on the 15 miles to work. When I go out to lunch it is off.

Tire pressure is spot on. Same tires and rims for the last year.

Any thoughts?

Thank you,

Brian

The temperature has gone up about 15 degrees from the morning to noon time. The pressure in the tires has gone up with the temperature.
Check the pressure in the morning and you will find it low.

Sticker on the door states 32. So I keep it at 32.

Hmmmm, never thought about that. I guess it makes sense. However, like this morning it was 36 degrees, no alert for TPMS.

Would that still hold true?

Thank you both for the replies....I appreciate it.

Take care,

Brian

Always check your tires cold and in the most representative ambient temps. Obviously as we move into colder temps here in Winter we must plus up a bit.

Hell I have some pictures of me smoking BBQ in the middle of a February blizzard. Best time to smoke cheese.

Take care,

Brian
