Tough Choice. Please Help.

Okay RX8 family I need some help/advice. I have a local Wheel shop and I have narrowed my choice down to two wheel types except the JIC magic are "staggard." I dont really understand what the 8.5 in the 18x8.5 means and is there a big difference between 8.5 and 9.5? the Ruff Racing rims are a 7.5.

So what do you guys think is the best for my Titanium Gray 8!?

JIC Magic J-Force 05 Aluminite Black staggard 18x8.5 and 18x9.5

RUFF RACING R375 rims 18 X 7.5

Neither...7.5 in is narrower than stock (stock is 8 in wide) and staggering is pointless on such a well balanced platform such as the 8...

...but if I had to choose between the two, I would go with the JIC's.

HockeyRX-8 will the 8.5 and the 9.5 hurt the way it handles?

yes, running a non staggered setup will keep its stock handling characteristics and also be cheaper on your wallet when you need to rotate tires

I found some rota p45r that are 18x9.5 That I like. so as long as all four are 9.5 I should be good to go or am i missing something else?

do you know the offset of the wheel? stock offset is +48 i believe. too low of an offset could result in your tires rubbing your fenders or wheel wells. your suspension setup plays a factor as well. look in the "will it fit" thread for questions on if your wheel will fit the car. chances are somebody has already asked your question.

Does your local wheel shop actually have the JIC's in stock? As far as I know they are discontinued.

OH but look at this....
