Too much front wheel space
Too much front wheel space
There is too much front wheel space on my car. I have search this before and found a thread on it but I cant find it now. I did bloosen the A arms on it and let it sit and even bounce on it but nothing. What we dd was take the lowering kit off and put stock on it and the front end looks to sit higher than the back does. Is there anything else I can do? Can i cut the coils? I dont know what to do. Thanks guys for the help.
on the stock suspension the front is higher than the back anyway maybe thats why but if you have a BIG difference you might wanna loosen everything up then jack up the spot behind the brake till the car starts to lift too and then tighten everything
I thought about trying this. Just have not done it. I will try this tmrw and see what happens. And I didnt know that the front was adj higher. I knew that they where bigger but didnt know it was so posed to sit unlevel. Thanks much for the help. If I cant figure it out Im going to see about buying some front lowering springs about .5in. Because it should lower a lil over .5in after settling.
If you don't take the swaybar endlinks loose you're wasting your time.
It needs to be on 4 jackstands with all wheels off the ground too
otherwise it just compresses the suspension on the other side rather than the corner you're jacking up
make sure all the suspension arm bolts are loose, Jack the corner up as far as it will go, then tighten all the bolts down
repeat on every corner or just the front in your case
