Temporary setup, will it work?

Hey guys,

I recently had my Gram Lights 18x9.5 +38's stolen off my car and i am looking to see what tires will work on the stock wheels that can potentially be put on my new wheels once they arrive.

I am looking at getting some Falken 452's 265/35r18's but was unsure if they would work on the 18x8 wheels as a temporary solution.

The new wheels will be a set of Forgestar F14's 18x10 and thus it would be nice if i only needed to buy 1 set of tires that will work for stock wheels and new wheels once they arrive.

Any thoughts?

A 265/35-18 will work on the stock rims. Hell guys in competition have run up to a 285 I believe.

Temporarily they would be fine...wouldn't want to do that for a long time..the tires are more suited for a rim that is 9-9.5" wide
