my bb is in the shop right now and they are installing my tein stechs and mazdaspeed shocks!! pics will be up once i get it back...i can hardly contain myself lol

How much were ths shocks...?

 

front shocks were 102 each, rear was 105 each from mazdaparts

 

heres my car a day after install....yes i know my car is dirty, i didnt want to clean it before they install, dnt worry i'll clean it soon. The springs and shocks need to settle a lot more still!!!

NICE! How low is the drop?

 

supposed to be 1.4 front 0.8 rear, but it still gotta settle before i wanna measure it. like right now its lower than yesterday afternoon.

 

let us know the ride (especially in cornering) after the spring and shock are settled.

guys already... the ride is freakin great... ive heard people sayin that the ride is too stiff and bumpy, but it really isnt at all. I dnt know if its jus me n i dnt mind it but it feels great. and the cornering!!! especially with my 245's on...man, im like seriously blown away. its like after i take a turn hard... i think back sayin i could have gone faster... lol its seriously like that, im sooo satisfied... no i jus want it to settle and get lower... my 8 grabs the road like never before!!!

 

can the mazdaspeed shocks take the spring ratio of the s-techs? i think you're the first person on the board w/ this combo. the majority of the board seems to be going w/ the konis. i was thinking of getting those myself but the mazdaspeeds could save me about 100 bucks... any opinions guys?

 

^^^ i had a feeling i was, because wen i researched ere one was going with koni yellows...good question i hope some can answer it...n i hope i didnt make a wrong choice
