Tein S Techs / ABS & Traction Control lights

I installed some tein s techs this weekend and now I'm getting the traction control light and abs lights on. I did search but only found threads relating to replacing wheels and getting these lights. So I'm wondering if anyone else had this issue and how did you reset the lights. From what I understand these sytems are not functioning. I've tried the brake stomp method to reset them but it didn't work. I disconnected the battery for 30 minutes, no luck. And I turned the wheel back and forth with the key in the on position. Any ideas?

The system sees a problem, so it's not something you are going to simply reset.

If you aren't EXTREMELY careful during a spring install, you can put a lot of stress on the wiring that goes to the wheel speed sensors. A visual inspection of all four wheel speed sensors would be your first course of action. It wouldn't surprise me if there's something damaged there.

But no, the springs themselves cannot cause this issue.

Do you know if an OBDII scanner would be able to tell me the problem? If its a disconnected sensor? Or if it would narrow down what wheel is throwing off the code?

I think the OBDII scanner only scans the check engine codes.

Before taking off the springs your supposed to mark the Alignment bolts on both sides so you can return it to the same Settings. Now if you didn't do it then I suggest you go get an alignment done and your light shall come off.

Definitely should get an alignment, even if you did return it to the same settings... The lower stance will change the angles.

But unless it is obnoxiously out of alignment, causing one tire to drag so bad that it's not spinning the same speed as the others... It won't cause a light.
