I am the original, I had those rims as prototypes from my sponsor, Motegi Racing. They were originally designed for RO_JA Motorsports.

People get them for several reasons.

1. They look good.

2. They are inexpensive

3. They have a HUGE lip on them that looks nice on the car.

4. Did I mention that they look good?

Thanks and ....would be Tanabe NF210s : 1.2 front drop and 1.5 rear drop.
Is the drop on the NF210s different from the GF210s? Tanabe's website indicates a 1.4F/1.2R drop for both the NF and GF springs (click on the spring and then view application charts).

Also, how's the ride quality?

I just ordered the GFs, because the Eibachs I ordered over maybe five or six weeks ago are now on super backorder -- mid-June delivery. Got a great price too -- $177 shipped. I had been waiting to put the sway bars in along with the springs, and finally just put in the tower strut brace first. The car feels kind of funny.

Anyway, the guys at hopupracing suggested that the NFs might be softer than stock, though I'm wary that the GFs may be too stiff. Any thoughts?

I'm very happy with the ride quality of the NFs. Combined with low profile tires on 19s, I hardly see much difference from stock on everyday to and from work driving. Obviously the car "feels" a bit more planted in the corners now and I kept my original set-up for winter driving. Wished I could help with the GF feel but have no experience with them. Overall, very happy with the Tanabes.

The Tanabes were suggest to me by hopupracing, and I took a few minutes to see some pictures. Saw the picture of your car in this thread and said OK.

I'm still looking at rims, though the ones I think I really want (Volk SF Challenge) are really expensive.
