Stance and Powertrix coilover opinions

Auto to manual swapped
So I'm 96% sure the clunk was from the top mount. I put the rear on stands and jacked up the right wheel trying to re-create the noise and wasn't getting anything. I pulled the right coilover and took it apart. The top mount is 2 piece held together with 4 Allen key bolts. I ran a bead of clear silicone around the point where the 2 plates contact to hold together the top mount, and let it dry for about 15min.
The Installed it back in and let it sit for about an hour. Took the 8 for a test drive and the clunk was pretty much non-existent. It was there once in a while, but very faint and not noticeable.. unless the radio is off and you're looking for it. Much more tolerable than before.
I think I'll pull both rears and use some kind of gasket material (cork or rubber) and cut a gasket to put in between the plates to stop contact completely and eliminate noise, as preventative maintenance.

Finally reset my preload and tweaked with height and it's not as prominent anymore. Still no clue how it was able to travel to much

I had a clunk coming from my right rear of my powertrix coilovers. Was able to find the noise coming from my adjustment **** tapping the inside of the trunk. Couldn't figure out how or why my coilover was going so far up while driving.

Just wondering if you would mind sharing a bit more info with us. What rate springs were you running? When were the units shipped to you? Did all four look to have about this much wear?
Sorry to play the 100 question game would just be intresting to get more info on the issues over all.

Also I was running my rears at 8 clicks with 2.5 inches before bottom if that helps to the other questions you got and yes they had about 9k life on them

Mine are shot on my stance as well, they wanted 120 for both.
Is there an alternative to what stance supplies? Can i use a different bushing? Something that wont... give up after a few months.
or are the new bushings they are supplying not garbage?
Since the rears will be off, ill be getting swift springs as well.

Yeah, when i bought them 2nd hand they were pretty bad. Im going to get swift springs for myself for xmas and take them out and send stance a pic.
Also, kind of unrelated... but do you guys have any issues with camber adjustment in the front? My mechanic said he couldnt get the alignment spec i wanted so had to make it more negative..
I wanted: -2 front, -2.5 rear, 5caster, 0 toe.
And i got somewhere around: -2.3 front, -2.7 rear, 5.5 caster, 0 toe.
He said i needed to get camber plates. Though im calling bs because ive never read that any of you guys have bought camber plates.

Stance Bumpstops?
So when I had my rear Stance coilovers apart I realized one of the rear bumpstops looked worn and was slipping down over the metal bearing it was supposed to rest on top of.
I ordered a pair of replacements from Stance and on their site the bumpstops are listed as universal for all of their coilovers. The bumpstops I recieved were noticeable taller from the ones currently on my coilovers. They look from the base like they will fit but does anyone have pics of the rear bumpstops of their Stance coilovers? Are these correct? Dont have any pics of the ones currently on my coilovers but these are similiar just taller.
These are the ones they sent:
Also got a set of dampening ***** as one of mine was bent.

How many miles were on yours? I never even thought to check the bumpstops. I guess that is one more thing to worry about failing prematurely. I will check it out when I remove them to install the new suspension.

I've installed these new bumpstops and haven't had any noticeable problems. I had to slip them over the bearing as well since they were too tall to sit on top. But its a pretty tight fit doesnt look like they'll slip down.
I'm not familiar with the zip tie test. I googled it. Didn't return much info. I'd appreciate if you can explain it. Thanks.
