Swift springs are very nice and BTW swift color codes their springs 65mm ID are gold, 60mm are silver, 70mm are blue. Also do yourself a favor and add some helper or assist springs http://www.swiftsprings.net/products...t_springs.html . It will be more comfortable on the street, won't hurt performance one bit (can actually help), you can run a shorter 6 or 7 inch spring instead of that 8 or 9 inch which saves unsprung weight. Chances are you only have 5-6" of shock travel anyways. The Assist or helper spring will add 1" of useable stroke and removing 2" of spring only reduces your useable stroke by less then 1", so a 6" spring with a helper/assist spring will actual add spring stroke to your setup.
Throw some thrust sheets in there too http://www.swiftsprings.net/products..._products.html.
Swift springs are not cheap though. Retail for $100 each. For 25% off retail and great service, call track worx at 714-872-2514.

So I pulled the rears to raise up the rear and discovered that the lower bushings in both rears are cracked. Pretty sad considering they have under 1,000 miles on them. I'm going to send Stance some pics and see what they say.

Yup, mine was similar, not as bad, but I attribute that to your warmer climate mixed with the dry rubber they use. My experience with stance was that they sent me brand new lower shock mounts (i.e. the screw on part used for height adjustment)
Let me know if you end up getting the swift springs, i am interested in seeing how much of a difference they majke.

I'm not sure, but people don't like to criticize stuff they buy because I guess they don't want to catch any flack for making a seemingly poor choice. But I think if more people did then certain items would not get hyped so much. But maybe Stance fixed this issue in the latest coil overs
I will say again though that their customer service has been top notch so that goes a long way.

we should try and get them on the forums to chime in. It would be interesting, i mean, aren't some of these issues actually safety concerns... we are lucky we have a large washer on the hub bolt, but if we didn't boy would a dislocated bushing cause some major havok. Not to mention the rust issue ... gunna be a fantastic time trying to move the spring perches around once they are rust welded on lol

At this point I have done so many suspension setups on RX-8's that I could do an RX-8 suspension swap with my eyes closed On the Stance/Powertrix I find that it is easier just to remove the rears to adjust them.

Hahaha i hear ya, this was my first suspension install. Going into it i took my time and babied the entire process, but now I can really do it no problem. The issue you may run into is that the perches fuse together quite nicely, which is great, until you realize that your spanner wrenches and strength can no longer break the seal. So you gotta break out the hammer of thor and a screwdriver to crack them loose.

Update:
Stance customer support is awesome. I really love that they stand behind their product. I think I'll stick with them. I will update of the swift springs info when I get it.
