Spacer: I need real input
Yes I have read the other threads about spacers.
Okay guys, I am getting aftermarket wheels (Tenzo Type M) with the correct offset but I am also doing my stockers in Graphite and I would like to use 10-15MM spacers for DD as I don't plan to run my new rims daily.
But, I want to know if there are really any problems running them. I don't want opinions on what your friend said, etc. etc. If you have a constructive opinion post them. Of course I am talking about quality hub centric spacers.

I'm no engineer but as long as they are bolted up tight I don't see how they are any different from wider wheel with a diff offset. It would be easy enough to have them welded as well. Just thinking, I really like the look of the stock wheels and I don't want my new rims getting beat up.

The major issue with spacers vs lower offset wheels (IMO) is that the spacers take up wheel stud that is no longer engaged by the lugs, so the force of the torqued on lugs is spread out across a much smaller area of the studs.

Yeah. Think about it for a minute... if you take the stock wheel and move it out 15mm, then the lug nuts are going to seat 15mm further out, and engage 15mm less of the wheel studs. It doesn't matter what's behind the wheel.

honestly, as long as you get quality spacers you should be fine.

Sure, but those are way thicker than the 10-15mm he is looking to push them out. You're looking at an inch or more for those types of adapters.
EDIT: You might be able to find a set of spacers that comes with lugs that extend further past the face of the wheel in the size you're looking for

Plus if you're worried about 10mm spacers lugs causing interference, if you look at the back of rims there are divets built into it where the protruding stock suds can fit.

BTW, if you are interested in 15mm spacers, I am selling the ones I purchased and only test fitted with my rims. They caused the wheel to stick out further than I wanted so I need to get rid of them now. Never drove with them. PM me if you're interested.

Go with 15mm to be on the safe side. I put a 10mm-also Kics-on the front and still needed another 3mm so the wheel wouldn't wobble. I guess you could also notch the original studs. but 15mm should take care of things nicely. Good luck

i'm running 25mm all around with rims that are stock offset and they're fine for dd.
[edit]
if you run 15mm spacers, the stock studs will hit the back of the rims.

I have been wanting to get a proper set for my OEM wheels but was unsure of how far I could go before hitting the fender. If you are running the GF210's on OEM struts, we probably have near identical drops. Did you have to roll the fenders?
Thanks in advance!
