Hey, I was wondering if anyone could suggest where to get a set of drilled/slotted rotors and pads for my 8. My original set is about five years old now. I got them from eBay back then but for some reason can't find the receipt, so I can't remember the seller's name. Who knows if he's still around. I'd like to get this done and get my winter wheels on. (Even with my winter wheels, lord help me now that I'm in a hilly area!)

I'm curious, do you want the drilled/slotted for looks?

I used to like them, but I've long since converted to just plain basic rotors from the local auto parts store. More than enough performance, and cheap. It's the pads that get important and make all the difference. That and I've cracked every set of drilled rotors I've put on any car I've owned, including underpower econobox cars.

Including slotted and drilled of various designs. Add the discounts that are always running and the ease of delivery and it's a decent option.


As for pads, you probably want a ceramic pad for street/winter. Hawk Ceramics is one of the best street and cold-grip pads I've ever driven on. BHR sells them: RX8 - Brakes | Black Halo Racing
