Should I repair or should I replace ?
Its been almost a year since the death of 2 of my OEM Shinka wheels. Special Thanks to the great road conditions in NYC.
I've been using Mazdaspeed Version II wheels since then.
Now, Winter is coming.
All 4 OEM wheels (including the corpses of the dead ones) sitting in my basement collecting dust.
So now Im wondering, should I *resurrect* the 2 dead ones, or go get 2 new ones.
it cost like 200 something bux to *resurrect* the 2 dead ones. and 400 something for new ones.
What I worry is, if I choose to resurrect them, will they be as *safe* as the new ones ? I did a lot of search, the results are kinda mixed. Some are happy no problem for 2-3 years, some of the repaired ones just broke without any warning.
Any ideas guys/gals ?

replace. so you don't have to repair the repaired wheels in the future.

I had some pictures but dunno where it is now.
1 was so *obvious* that its bent.
the other one was not so obvious, but if you look closely you can tell its not a *circle* anymore. (shakes badly on the balancing machine)
Maybe I should replace them ...

i'd replace and not even worry about how much curb rash they have as long as they aren't bent so you can get them on the cheap. it's winter and they're going to look like crap anyway with all the nice slush that NYC brings instead of snow.
