Cool RX-8 GS All season tire in winter

Does anyone drive an RX-8 Automatic with all season tire in winter?

Please give me your feedback if you have tried on snow. I drove a BMW 325CI with Goodyear eagle GT tires without a problem. But it has traction control and heavier than the RX-8. Thank you all in advance for your input.

I have an MT car and have been using the all season tires. The difference shouldn't be that much between a MT and an AT car. The first set Pirelli PZero Nero M+S were great dry/wet tires but didn't work well in heavy snow. The present set Continental ContiExtremeContact are great in snow. I just don't know how well they work in hard cornering. I like the specs/tests of the Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season and those will be my next set.
The climate should be similar between Toronto and Chicago.

I just put on Cooper Zeon A/S 245/45 - 18 tires. Major improvement over the stock Bridgestones in rain. Have to wait a few months to try them in the snow - even in Buffalo...

I put the car through some paces on cornering, ramps, etc and was pleased with the handling on dry pavement. Quieter than the original tires too.
