Ruff Racing Wheel Quality?

Ok I went into a local shop here in Miami, and they had quite a few of these "new" wheels (they told me Ruff Racing was a brand new label but reaaalllly good), they look and feel really nice, does anyone have any experience with these wheels or know the quality? As far as my eye can see they look pretty good and I found a pair I want to try on my Rx-8......

Its a staggered setup with such a Deep Dish in the back its sooo nice...

That wheel looks REALLY nice. Is it true 2 piece or are those rivets fake. Either way they will look great on an 8.

Just going off of price alone through Google, they come in anywhere from $175 to $225 per wheel which puts them in price range with Motegi/Einke/Konig Etc. If they are similar in quality you'll be getting an above average wheel for a low price.

I've seen them on eBay. If they have that deep lip, are they more likely to accept the TPMS?

If they're $175-225 per wheel then they're one-piece.

I hope that finish lasts. It looks like a finish that might discolor over time.

FYI, RUF wheels are very expensive and are (or were) designed for Porsches. RUFF is not the same company.

With all that said, they look nice and if they aren't too heavy should work well.

Those are not the same as RUF as seen on alot of porsches...

RUFF is a company that came out a few years, most of their wheels are rip offs of Jline, they are not lightweight and they are not forged or multipiece... They look alright, but to be honest with you i wouldn't run the same size lip all the way around, just looks kinda odd.

I was also checking this rims out on ebay. If you can find out the weight comparing it to a typical weight of a 19", it should be a good deal if your main concern is the look on these.

Yea even minus the rivets, only thing similar is that they are wheels, I mean they don't even have the same amount of spokes, thickness of spokes, nothing??? what am I missing?

Angry Ruff Rims

Hello to All!! No I don't own a RX-8 but I was looking for the RUFF RIM MANUFACTURES'S ADDRESS, and come across this review. I own a set of the R 363 matte black staggered, and was happy for the first 90 days after that while on a trip from Texas to Louisiana. The front passenger side rim cracked ALL THE WAY AROUND RIM, no I did not hit any pot-holes. Don't know what the heat cycles are for that rim.

I put a staggered fit on my 2014 Honda Crosstour, It looks Ok, will post picture later, but for the rim be careful, if rim gets hot. I purchased them from MOE'S CUSTOM OF DALLAS TEXAS. In the process of getting rim replaced and selling the set with rim & tires for $1000. Like in other post big guy be careful with this rim, everything that looks good is not always best for safety.
