Rotors not heating the same?
After a short, 2-mile suburban drive yesterday, I decided to wipe down my wheels. I noticed that my left front rotor was noticeably hotter to the touch than my right front rotor. Neither was burning hot. I only have about 7000 miles on my 6MT Sport, and to my untrained eye there is no wear difference between the rotors/pads on both sides. I haven't noticed a heat difference after longer drives, but then both rotors are too hot to touch. Anything to be concerned about? Thanks! MARK

Phew! I thought you were talking about the engine rotors!
Well, I wouldn't worry about it too much, but I might be wrong.

If your rotors are not hot enough to make your rims too hot to touch and different in hotness, there's nothing to worry about. If they do, it might be caliper failing to retract back to non-braking position due to dirt or debris, in this case have them cleaned out.
