rotor and rim question
ok i have a question im puttin stop tech calipers on the rx8 and well with the stock 18's dont clear the caliper. now i used spacers and it cleared the caliper fine but now the stems are too short for the lug to reach it. anyone know anything i can do..do they sell extenders or longer stems for the hub so i can make the lugs reach or fit? thanx alot..--mattman

Momentum Keeps Me Going
I've read on the forum that there are replacement studs, longer I would imagine are possible. But you realize that you are going down the slippery slope of compromising your suspension geometry, likely your 8s great handling, and even possibly your safety due to hub stress over time?
If someone sold you brakes that don't fit... why not send them back... I mean really, that's pretty messed up, wouldn't you say?.... but it's your money/car/safety.
