request for pictures of big brake kit on rx8
I would like to see a variety of big brake kit on rx8 preferably with stock wheels. I am considering getting them but I would like to see some pictures different styles first. I would do a detailed search, but I'm on my lunch break and don't have time. Thanks.

I already have aftermarket 19" rims and lots of exterior and interior accessories from the 2 years I've had this car. This is the only other external modification I'm considering. Please post pics. Thanks.

Well if you don't really need it for the stopping power, but just the look, you might want to get these...

What is all the negativity against these brake calipers. How is it any different then all the other extras that we put on our cars that don't enhance performance: aero kit, spoiler, strakes, aluminum gas cap, etc. If it is done tastefully and make the car look better then whats the problem. It smarter to do this than spend $2000 on a real set of brembo brakes that I don't really need. And I don't want to hear the argument that these caliper covers are an attempt to be something there not. There's plenty of you out their who are buying those fake plastic strakes on ebay in order to save money than buying the real ones.

argument #2: i guess they could make the car look better but it can't be compared to buying fake fender strakes BECAUSE real or not they serve no purpose in enhancing the cars performance. on the other hand, a REAL big brake kit costs $2g's b/c of all the R&D that has gone into manufacturing a quality product. putting a big brake look alike cover is fronting that you have the stopping ability of a big brake kit. it is akin to installing a fake blow off valve sound horn on your car to pretend that you have a turbo kit. ALOT different than buying fake fender strakes or aluminum fuel doors.
argument #3: fake vs. real fender strakes is not a good benchmark to judge big brake kit cover and a real big brake kit. fake or real a fender strake still serves its purpose, aesthetically enhancing the car. a more accurate comparison would be fake vs. real strakes against cheap *** big brake kit vs. brembo big brake kit.
sorry i had to rant. trying to find parking @ school always makes me a little edgy.
