TX Rear shocks question

I am almost positive I know the answer to this but I figure I'll ask just in case there is some super secret ninja way of tightening the bolt.

Can the nut at the top of the rear shock betightened somehow without pulling the whole assemblies?

I have had a rattling noise 9like something is lose) in my rear suspension since the new springs and shock went on and I have rechecked everything and everthing is tight and the suspension is working great. I put it up on the lift and I was missing two exhaust hangers but I replaced them and the same sound exists.

no you have to drop it, at lease half way..
just drop the shock enough so you could get a wrench and hex key.

I knew it. I'm gonna be pissed if I drop them and those bolts are not the issue.

Well, the bolts were the issue. Good thing I checked because the left one was almost off!! I pulled both rears and toghtened the bolts again and man what a difference, the sound is gone and no more clunking. Thats what happens when you install shocks and spring all by yourself. My son helped but you need an extra set of experienced eyes to double check everything.
