Racing Hart J5 Pro 19x9 all around? Is it possible.

I was calling to order some Racing Hart J5 PRo's, with 245/35/19's, and was looking to go 19x9 all the way around. I checked on some tire manufacturer sites and they recommeded 19x9 wheels to go with that size. When I talked to the dude on the ohone he told me that 19x9's are not reommended for the fronts. He said I should go 19x8.5 all around instead. I'm just looking to get the best rim size for my tires. Also I'm going to get the RB spings, so I don't plan to lower the car anymore than 0.5 inches.

Also being that these rims should be lighter than stock but 1 inch larger in diameter is it going to affect performance all that much? I really like these rims, but the smallest they come is in 19's

BTW, these wheels come with Either:
1) Toyo T1-R
2) Nitto NT555
3) Falken ST-115

which one do you guys recommend for lots of fun daily driving and the occassional track day (so addicted to track days).

19X9 might rub the inner fender well when completely turned (might) also depends on offset

madhops,

I'm running 255/35 on 19x8.5 with 40mm offset front and back with no rubbing. BTW the setup I'm running is very close to the OEM setup of 225/45/18 so no speedo adjustment.

I almost went with these wheels but they do not support tpms so I backed out at the last minute. Charles with Wheel Autohaus recommended 19x8.5 w/245/35 front and 19x10 w/275/30 rear.

I have 19x8.5 all around, my offset right now is +38, with a lot of room. Wish i've went with a more aggresive offset but that would work.

I have st115, so far i'm pretty impressed with them for the price I think they're a great bang for the buck type of tire. I would look into yokoham es100s too. Great summer tire.

Yeah, I haven't seen them on an RX-8 yet.

well you can get these straps or something, and then you can have the TPMS.

After talking with a few more people and doing a bit more research I think 19x8.5 all around is what I'm going to end up getting.

As for tires, I'm torn between the T1-S and the NT555. I've been in a couple cars with the older Toyo TI-R's and was absolutely blown away by how grippy they were (wet and dry). Toyo says T1-S's are supposed to be better, but I don't know. As for the NT555's I've been on different forums and have only read good reviews. Hmmm, tough choice.

Madhops I would not go smaller than 35mm in the back thats 9.5 but thats just me. Even with 9.5 and a drop you might need to roll the fenders.
If you are looking for a off set look, look into; 18 x 8.5 and 18 x 9.5 or you can get 19's with the same off set.
Hope that helps. Post pix when you get them
