How in the hell would they make a turbo manifold that would hold together for more than a couple dyno pulls on an RX-8?
So he had one dud out of how many manifolds? I've seen plenty of jetta and BMW owners run racelands with no issues.

Like i have seen many people praising stance\powertrix coilovers and the likes.
It doesn't mean they're right.

I'd love to see another turbo 8 locally, but I don't think they are going to be able to build something that will work. Best of luck to ya.

Let me guess, bunch of weekend hardparkers that never get used?

Go hit Google, this is not an isolated issue. Their headers are garbage.

update!

So after a little over a month we hope to finally have got our issue with the rear coilovers not matching up to the top hat correctly. The car will be going back in tomorrow morning for more testing and I shall keep you updated!

So the coilovers were finally put on today. My first impression was wow. These don't ride nearly as rough as a lot of people say they do. You can get up to a 3" drop on these however I wouldn't suggest more than 2 for daily use. I have about a 1.5" drop in the rear and the springs bottom out on really deep pot holes. The dampers are set to the hardest setting at the moment but still feel a bit soft for what they're set for so we will be fine tuning that in the next couple of weeks before we have a final product. I shall get you guys some pictures over the weekend so you can see what they look on the car. It's been a long 7 month process but it's paying off!

So you can lower the car around 3" yet the shocks bottom out on pot holes if you lower it 1.5".
Wow, i'm impressed with their quality!

Please throw them in the dust bin and buy some dampers that actually damp.

Besides, have you got any dyno plots? all the impressions in the world are just toilet paper compared to those graphs.

That's not a positive "wow", right?

I have a 1.5 in the rear and it bottoms out on huge pot holes. Average size ones aren't an issue. I have a 2" drop in the front and those have yet to bottom out.

Negative. It's pretty positive. Besides going over deep pot holes and large speed bumps the ride doesn't feel much different from stock. However the system is only a few days old. Hasn't even been broken in yet.

Also no I do not have any dyno plots but were you really going to ever track racelands anyway?

Well we all know our opinions on RiceLands. With that said, are those MS3 wheels and why?

Why did you buy "adjustable" shocks then? Some lowering springs would have done just that, perhaps with some koni yellows.

Because they look better imo than the stock 8 wheels and the MSR 095s I had on. Plus I can still fit 245/40 tires on them.

update!

So I've been talking to my raceland representative and they are going to develop a new shock for the rears so they don't bottom out half of the way down. The front coils seem to be doing just fine so far.

I also apologize for the lack of pictures. My photo bucket account and rx8club.com aren't really working together at the moment.

They're narrower and higher offset... Weigh the same.
