hey guys, i had a question. since the snow has gone, on my way home i get to pass an audi r8 parked at a local buisness. everytime i look over, i always think r8 rims on my mazda would like amazing! would the factory audi rims fit?!?! just curious! the r8 is sick!

don't quote me, but i believe that European lug nut offset is usually almost always different than Japanese... therefore, it's very highly unlikely that the oem Audi wheels will fit.

u're prolly better off finding an aftermarket rim that looks like the oem Audi that fits our cars...

The bolt pattern on the R8 is 5x112.
You might be able to get away with wobble bolts but I'd recommend quality adapters.

as mentioned, the bolt patterns are different.
Audi = 5x112
RX8 = 5 x 114.3

not only that, I imagine they're ridiculously over priced.

they make replica R8 wheels 18x8 and 19x8 for around $6-$700 5x112 or 5x100

problem is the offset is 35, so adapters will not work.

center bore is 57.1 so they will need to be machined.

wobble nuts will not work...no way to mount a 5x112 wheel on 5x114.3 studs.

which R8 wheels are you thinking of? the twin 5-spoke look almost identical to Advan Model T5's.

Yeah, I don't think anyone posted comparison pictures of the R8 and the Advan T5 like 2 posts above yours. I just double checked and no such post was ever made.
