Quick Question

I am looking at buy some rims and tire form this guy tonight but wanted to make sure they would fit fist.
Here is the size 18x8 rims with a +42 offset
with 225/40/18 Tire's would i have a problem running this set up.

need more info....are you planning to drop the car?

42 should going too low.....lowest i would go is 45...u might get some rubbing..

You should have no issues with that size wheel/tire and offset. Even if you lower the car you will not rub on the fender etc.
Basically you are moving the outer and inner edge of the wheel 8mm further out than stock. This will close the gap to the fender by 8mm.

How about with 4 people in the car would it rub then.

Also anyone know if the TPMS sensors will fit on 18" Chrome Zenetti's w/ 2inch lip.

the lowest is 45.

and buy a 4" instead =/

Well i test fitted the rims and they fit with no problems. so I bought them will try to post pic's up later.

there is no way that it will rub!!
it will fit no problem!
