Anyone out there know the difference between the OEM front and rear springs - I need to be able to identify them visually.
I have a set laying around in my garage and want to label them.

Here are the differences:

One pair is slightly thicker/heavier and about an inch longer than the other - these have a purple paint dot on them
The other pair is identified by an orange-pinkish dot.

not sure but id guess the bigger ones are for the front....seeing as how the front end is always sits a little higher than the rear....

Gonna feel mighty sill if I'm wrong(it's been too long), but I believe you are correct......thicker/longer/purple dot is front.

Thanks for the quick replies.....but.....

I initially thought the same as both of you. But - when I went into the Lowering Springs DIY thread it stated for the lowering springs that the slightly longer spring was the rear!

Does anyone know for certain pertaining to the OEM springs? Maybe someone can take a quick look? I appreciate it.

Hey guys - I think I found it....the SEARCH function is great - just have to sift through many, many threads. But, here is one with provides me with the measurements and also a picture.
You were right - shorter orange-pinkish dot is the REAR!

Good...........at least I'm not crazy! Guess I better go label mine that are sitting in a box as well.
