Question for those with aftermarket wheels....
I am installing Axis Hiro rims on my 8. These wheels have a larger hub bore diamer than the stock wheels. Do I need to use hub centering rings? The Axis rims have the cone recess in the lug holes to help with centering but I have read it is not good enough. I also read on Tire Rack's site that if you do use a lug centric wheel (has cone recess): torque the lugs while the vehicle is on jackstands to help center the wheel without the weight of the car. So...........you guys with aftermarket rims: Did you use hub rings or say the hell with them. If I need hub rings does anyone know the stock hub bore?
