Powdercoat Options.... what would you do

so i have my wheels sitting in the garage and they didnt come out the way I wanted them to when I tried to refinish them myself.

This being said I have found the right powdercoat shop and now i need to make up my mind...

either I paint the wheel matte black (like a dull black volk color) and keep the lip polished

or

paint the entire wheel matte black including lip and add a time attack pin stripe maybe red or even orange (to be different)

who would time attack.... who wouldnt?

RWD+LSD=Zoom, make sure you call me. I know the best power coating shop in the area. They're cheap and they do show quality work.

i don't think they would look good all matte black...those lips are somewhat deep...
usually when you see a wheel that's all the same color it doesn't have much of a lip

any wheel with a bigger lip is usually polished or chrome or painted a different color than the wheel
i just don't think it would look right as a time attack wheel with the bigger lip...but that's just my opinion lol

i dont know man lots of people time attack with lips like take the Volk Racing RE30 for example. I have seen these wheels with matte black and orange time attack (actually where I got the idea)

On a side note I think this would look better anyway because there are small scratches on the lips that stand out being polished.

what im saying is is that i think the lips on your wheels are to deep to be all the same color...the re30's, although they do in fact have a lip its not a very substantial one...it may be the pics but your lips look to be almost double that of the volks.

also if you have some scratches on the wheel and are going to get them powder coated why not just get them refinished while you are at it...it would be a whole new set of wheels for half the cost lol

and please don't think im hating on your idea to do the time attack look lol...im just offering my opinion for the time attack application on your specific wheel...i think time attacks are sick
