Powder-coated the centercaps of my Kazera's

I powder-coated the centercaps of Kazera KZ-A wheels to match the rest of the car.

For those who don't know powder-coating is much more durable way to "paint" a piece of metal than actually painting it.

The center caps come with the wheels. I had them powder-coated by a company called Precision Powder Coating in Houston. (281-651-6900. Talk to John)

Anyway they don't match by paint code, but they do have a large number of colors in stock. They took a while to get to me but I couldn't beat the price of $50 which is their minimum order for any powder coating job.

Yes, I agree yellow center caps would look a little weird on any other color car (call it a theft-deterent measure ), but with it matching the yellow of the car, trust me it looks nice.

What was the original color of the center caps? What model Kazeras are those? I'm going to get a 17" winter wheel & tire package from TireRack soon, but I don't see those wheels on the website.

They are the KZ-A's as my first post states. The original "color" was machined aluminum.

Don't know if they are available in 17's or not.

Oh sorry, didn't notice that in your original post. How much did these wheels cost? They look nice.

Buckeye,

You mention the Tirerack and then you ask how much the wheels cost?

C'mon on man.

Wiggles: If I knew I could find those wheels on TireRack I would have looked, but please refer to this statement from my original post.

I see your point: I could have checked for the 18s on TireRack.com after you responded, but what's the harm in asking you directly when it would take you at most 10 seconds to respond?
