Well, I know this is a terribly 'noob' thing to do, but I've searched around and haven't come to a definitive conclusion. So i apologize, hopefully i can get a quick answer and that will be that.

I'm looking at rims sized 19X8.5 ET 29 AND REARS IS 19X9.5 ET 35. Would this fit on the RX-8 with no problems? the offsets seem a bit low especially in the front..

I would be suspect of that 29 offset in the front. The tire shops say 42 is the most that can go on the front with an 8.5. I have a 38, and I have seen as much as a 35, but 29 may give you problems.
