Cool Polishing my stock rims! My first thread and I know it's been done...

Well first off I want to say I really like this forum. It literally gets me through every single day of work. There are lots of informative threads and mods that I can't wait to do.

Ok, so here are some pics of my rims in progress.

Edit:
more pics and finally finished! Thank goodness because I was a month without a car :/

I also painted the calipers while I was at it. I did them in black.

It has been done. Good luck keeping them that way once you are finished. Welcome to the addiction.

I'd recommend getting them clear coated once they're all polished, OEM wheels are aluminum and will oxidize pretty quickly with the bare metal exposed. Another option would be to keep a good coat of wax on them all the time.

well you have to take the paint off first and then you start sanding away! You start from thick sand paper and move your way up to the thinnest sand paper.
