you really need c'overs to pull off toppy's look. if you remember his before pics when he had just the rpf1's, no springs or anything, it didnt look nearly the same

Not my car, but these will be the 17x9" wheels that I'll be acquiring later this year (probably in the +43 offset though):

Thanks for all of the replies. I really like those 18" black RPF1s. I may still go that route, although I would be nervous about bending them after my experiences with the 18" RPF1s I had on my Mazda3. Then again, the RX-8 won't be driven all over the place as it's not my daily driver, and will rarely be driven in winter.

RawrX8, what tire width are you running? I think topgear8 was running 275. I was looking to run 255 on mine. I'm also curious to know what drop you guys with these wheels are running, and if you have any rubbing or had to roll fenders. I think that topgear8 said he didn't have any problems or fender rolling with his.
