Pics of RX-8s with 17" wheels?

I know I've seen some photos of RX-8s with 17" wheels in various threads, but trying to search for them doesn't seem to be working very well. I'm really liking the Buddy Club forged QF wheels, but they only go up to 17". Anyone have photos of their RX-8 with 17" wheels on it? I think the Gun Metallic QF wheels would look very good on my Sparkling Black Mica RX-8, and I want light wheels (these babies fit that bill at 14.5 lbs.), but I'm concerned about going down a size.

Lots of 17" wheels on the forum. Did you search for 17"? Anyway lots of 17" in this thread. Probably will all be the same wheel but different sizes, offsets and tires sizes.

Trying to save 2-3 lbs going down to a 17 on a full stock daily driver (not a gutted race car) is like when you could be

Your better off running some laps and losing that gut.

That just my IMO. Anything under a 18 looks to small.

I have 17" Mazda6 stock rims for winter duties. Works great. The car actually sat a bit lower noticeably. Now that it is back on 18s", I feel the car is like a jacked up truck. hahahaha....

I want to get some super light 17's for the track only. I agree with the above that anything less than 18 looks no bueno on a DD.

Thats too big. That 8 doesn't have enough power for those wheels.

Don't go 17" if you lower it.

Car will scrape over every ittle hump and dip.

Maybe if your running a 35 series tire, than Yes. Your running a tire with the same wheel height of stock or slightly smaller it wont make a difference.

Come on Razz use that head!

I did the math in some other thread, I've been drinking all afternoon (yah that's right, at work, for free, while still getting paid) but it worked out to 6lbs/wheel less than you, 2.7lbs/wheel over Chris on his reasonably sized tires.

http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp?postId=906 Here's that visual tire size calculator I was talking about the other day, btw.

My wheels vs. Rawrx8's: Here

There is only a pound and a half difference between my 17's and 18's. I don't think the 17's look small.

My 17's weigh 41.9lbs with tires

vs.

My 18's weigh 43.4lbs with tires

and side by side, I have 265's on the 18's now so the diameter difference is only .3in this picture and the picture above was with the 275
