I would say paint it either black or WB, just to follow the whole theme of your car.

I would go for black, but AME painted the black part of the wheels so I don't have paint that will be a perfect match. I do have WB paint though that was leftover from the lip so I'm thinking of painting it blue. It'll match the lugs anyways.

might be too much blue if you do the whole center.

I agree, it's getting really close to that already.
I was going to suggest painting the lugs themselves originally for a little better match, but I'm sure they'd get all jacked up everytime you touch them and may end up looking bad.

just get the spokes and the center re-painted...black. I agree, more WB would be too much.

Throwdown,

Sorry for the late response. After washing the car with the hood a couple times there is obviously a little more water that gets under the hood than with the stock hood. The primary vents sit behind the filter element on the K&N, but the bottom tray under the element collects a little bit of water.

Under normal driving conditions I can't see the filter getting water directly into it.

Also I recall some debate about the rear vents. On the hood version I have they ARE functional. I removed the mesh guards cause I didn't like the alumimum look and also I wanted better air flow.

If you guys want I can take some pictures and post it up on where the hood sits.

I think the fuel door might be throwing it off alittle as well, and a lip spoiler would help finish it off. Turned out great though!

Looks slick, but the front looks a little high.

Where did you get the yellow headlight film?

Wheel change (again!)

Here is my third and fourth set of wheels since I have owned the car, first pic is what I just removed and will be selling here at RX8Club, 19"X9 SpeedStar D5R.

Following pics are the 19" Hiro Axis Anthracite (old school and heavy!) and for kicks I installed the both rears on the right side for photos... I really like the look of the 9.5 wide rim and the 275's all the way around, as impractical as it is.... the +45 offset in the Hiro on the 9.5 truly is a different look than the +45 8.5's....
Anybody wants to trade +cash some 8.5s for some 9.5s, let me know!

The last photo is the 8.5/245 in the front and the 9.5/275 in the rear as normal...
