just fit them last night, car is nto clean, but thought I would post it anyway.

19x8.5 up front
19x9.5 out back, I will probably have to roll the rear fenders, just to be on the safe side.

^^ sexy sexy. i have the same size but probably different offsets and i dont rub. i also have a pretty nice clearance. looks like yours is lowered too. what kinda springs?

I have the TEIN Flex coilovers. My apex of my rear fender arch is at 26" above the ground. if that gives any more info for comparison. the rears will rub, if at some point I end up with full compression of the rear suspension, but since these are not my track wheels, I don't know that I have to worry about it, but our car really loads the rear suspension up, more than most people might be aware of.

this is an 8, on track, with the TEIN flex...


I don't plan to see that kind of loading on the street, but on a mountain run, it could get close. Better safe than sorry, to roll them would cost so little, to cut a tire down, could be very costly.

how much does it cost to roll the fenders? i didn't realize it was inexpensive. i guess i just assumed it was a pretty costly undertaking.

All you need to to is rent a fender roller and you can do it your self.

your car is just bad *** IMO. and to be completely honest, was the car that made me want these wheels to start with. same for the guy who I bought them from.

and yeah, just rent a fender roller, there is a guy that rents them out. I am going to have to contact him soon, and our fender lip is pretty thin, so it should not be too hard.

Yeah it is pretty easy, just heat it up with a heat gun while you are doing it so yall don't crack the paint and adjust it a little at a time and it will turn out great!

It is in HI, if you take it to a body shop. Mine cost 3200 ish. The dealer paid but still. I thnk they took em off, rolled them and then re-painted too.

that is a bit much, now, if they had to expand your fenders at all, that might get costly. but a simple roll, if you had to pay 3200, im sorry, you got taken. and I would be pissed. around here, it can be done by a shop, for anywhere from $50-$100 per fender.

Guys...www.rollyourfender.com . Rental is $50 plus shipping both ways. Very easy to do. Did it myself last week. Had 19x9.5 et 43, went to a 19x9.5 et 37.

^Oh yeah! That's right! The only painful part is testing to see if you've rolled enough. This entails a lot of remounting the wheels, quick drive, get out of the car, check for the rubbing culprit, dismount, roll, remount! Test again!

They may have, that might be why the body shop took 3 days. But really, I don't care. The dealer paid for it, and they said 3200 but I never saw the bill, so they could be full of it, or they may have gotten screwed. But it cost ME $0.

I am rolling mine out of precaution. Once it is rolled, I don't think I will have any clearance issues.


Kane, I am glad you did not have to pay for that. Either they flared the fender some more, which I doubt, or the person that started to roll the fender cracked the paint, which required re-painting the rear panel. Even then, someone got rear ended on that one, and got taken for $3200.

You really shouldn't need to roll fenders with only 9.5's unless your really really really slammed and who in their right mind would want to drive a car that slammed anyway. I've never had any issues with my 19x9.5's on lowered car no matter how extreme the driving (extreme enough to make passengers sick with vertigo for an hour after the drive).

what offset do you have. that seems to be my issue. right now, with my TEINS, i have about 2 inches from the top of the tire, to the wheel arch. and the sidewall of the tire is just insde of being flush with the outside of the wheel arch, if the spring fully compressed, under hard cornering, the tire will tuck up under the wheel arch, and it would hit the lip of the wheel arch.

while I am not doubting that people with 9.5 inch wheels, don't have to roll their fenders, it is problably because they are running a higher offset. I could be wrong.

You're forgetting at least 2 other factors besides rim width that would require someone to shave or roll their fenders: offset and tire size. I have a moderate drop with Tein S-Tech, but my offset is more on the aggressive side, a +37. I had a +43 before this, and would rub with rear seat passengers on any slight road variations.

the offset on my rear wheels is +35, with a 265 tire.

MB Motoring EXE II. No real weight savings versus stock, but I think they look nice if you're willing to stay 18". Around $456.00 (marked down from 856 dollars) shipped from discount tire. Compatible with TPMS as well.

hummmmm.....the are pretty? but cheap. i think i actually like the stock rims better.
