I have a Phantom Blue w. Chrome accents, fuel door, rims, vents.

Looks great for now, but I was thinking of a plan for the next 6-7 months. I was thinking of the following:



Body kit (veilside, ings, or buddy club)

Now for the paint, Would white look good with phantom blue?
White rims and/or
white hood and/or
white body kit / white lower half of the car or white upper half.
white hood + white trunk/spoiler + white vents

trying to think what would look the best, nothing too ricey but something sharp... i like the look of the ings car

but think a bit more white would look damn sharp. dare i consider a stripe or 2??

I like my PB as is - but if you lose the chrome you could add a small amount of white I guess. Maybe just white trim at the bottom.

 

never been a fan of chrome on the 8, but different strokes...

 

That color is beautiful IMO, but I would save white to go with a lighter blue, ala WB. Just some nice silver wheels would keep the classy look the PB gives it.

 

I love that color. Mind if I ask how much it set you back?

if you change out the chrome accents with white accents it will pop... and then shortly after so will I

 

Don't do white on PB or you will be a biter. Look in the "calling all phantom blue's" thread and then come up with your own look.

 

I've never been a fan of chrome. But I think white accents would look alright.
Just don't flood your car with too much, though.
PB is such a unique color as is...

 

Not a fan of wheel chromes, except for gas covers

Anyways, a color you don't see that much on an rx8.
