pettit racing stay bar??
I apologise if this has been discussed already but I am on my phone an tried to search. I am down in palm spring florida and am looking to up my suspension. Saw that pettit racing had a stay bar for a NICE price but am unsure what to expect. It seems as if it goes hand in hand with the OEM suspension. Does anyone have any reviews of this product or has anyone heard anything? Once again sorry if this has been discussed

sorry that's the best I can do. I don't have a computer down here and well neither does my "amazing" hotel I'm stayin in down here. But if I'm gonna get it I'd like to buy it while I'm down here to save on shipping.
I'm asking because isn't it uncommon to change the front sway and leave the rear stock? Would seem to me that this would still have the rear wanting to break lose while the front doesn't?

Many people go with a bigger(aftermarket) front sway while leaving the stock rear sway. Adding a bigger bar in the front and not the back will make the car understeer more. But since the RX8 likes to oversteer, adding just a bigger front sway can benefit you and will also make your car much more nimble through the twisty roads.
Adding a bigger rear sway stiffens up the rear of the car which causes it to break loose easier and provides more oversteer. Some people actually take the rear sway bar off completely and just use stiffer spring rates..But that is a whole different topic.
