Opinions- Yokohama IG721 Ice Guard
Hey,
I just found a guy selling....
Yokohama IG721 Ice Guard
Front: 225/45R18
Rear: 245/45R18
(they were used on a g35)
he said they're staggered... (no clue what that means)
will these work on my rx-8. based on other posts i heard that overall 245s might be a little too big, but im willing to take my chances since im getting stuck with other options....
What do you guys think... Staggered is that ok??
Please let me know soon as i plan on going out to pick up the tires on fri afternoon so i need to know to cancel if need be.
Thanks in advance!

The fronts will fit, the rears are just too tall - almost 0.7 in taller than stock. You could run them but I wouldnt. You might check to make sure all the suspension components are cleared by the rear tires before you buy them. Check this :

I have the contiwintercontact 810s, H rated, and I really like them. They are a little weak-kneed in the dry, but considering they are H-rated and heavily siped snow-tires, they have good dry grip.
