Like I said in the title, when it comes to rims I'm a newb. I searched and found the size so I'm good with that.

Anywho I was looking at rims and not knowing anything about companies I looked up the rims I chose from the game Need For Speed: Underground Racing II, the lowenhart lsr noir as pictured below:



Needless to say I was blown away at the $1300+ per rim price tag.

So is lowenhart some kind of high end rim company or something? Is this one of those paying for the brand name things or is it just a really good wheel?

yes they are a high end rim. yes you do get what you pay for. but also, it is probably a multi piece wheel, so if the roads you travel are at all rough or potholed, you probably want to look at cheaper rims. if you look around, you can find good wheels for a great price. if u were to buy my wheels and tires (the wheels are discontinued now) on the open market (i got mine through my work) they would probably run around 1600 for the full set with mount and balance. they are 19x9.5 2 piece wheels

Ah. Well at this point I'm just kinda looking around and getting a feel for the market. I've never had to buy rims before and as much as I like the stock 8's rims I'd like to upgrade to something that looks sharp.

Nice rims but dont they only come in 20"+ sizes? I'm saving up for set of rh s3 pros in machined black. Hope to get a set by winter.
